Possibly one of my favourite, most personally engaging articles I have written for Den Creative, on the wonders of digital art.
It took me back to my education days of exploring really hands-on, rustic, varying art forms and entering the realm where hard art and the digital realm meet. I find experimentation and ambiguity so exciting when it comes to being creative! Digital art can be so vast without a finite answer and it allows individuals to follow their own interpretations of briefs and channel different ideas, in order to choose their favourite at the end.
This post provides a brief overview of what it's about, goes into 'how to' and some useful techniques, as well showcasing some examples of different types of digital art. Some works are more complex and dynamic, whilst others play more on the simplistic, graphics-heavy side of this creative field.
