Pretty hard not to love this new band from Landan, London Grammar, when they surfaced BIG earlier this year (but made their first appearances around 2012). I todally forgot to blog for some weird reason- probably because they were on repeat and I was a'studying, but these are my three favourite band tracks in order of 'like.' They were my work vibe during dissertation days, sleepy playlist selections and bl*ody good on remix when going 'out out.'
They filled my craving for a new band lust in my life. As a huge Bombay Bicycle club, Alt J, Maccabees and KOL fan, I needed suttin' new, for when those guys were taking their rest periods. Moreover, indie always lies in my heart, electronica/dance/deep house and of course Bondax/ Simian Mobile Disco vibes, rank highly in my 2012/13 musical sphere, so London Grammar were 'doing bits' for satisfying all of my requirements. Yep enjoy- it's kinda minor, spooky and alluring new music, with HUGE potential.
