The day of the launch party proceeded with the Piccadilly pop up store, right by the tube station. Karis and I were in from the morning with a lovely warehouse-esque draft blowing beside us in the back end of the shop. WIN. The shop display looked UWWSUMM for the Pocket Section. It beats that of the KR store. This past week in the shop= good footfall, but less selling in comparison to the KR venue. Next stop The Chelsea Harbour Club!
10-4pm was the designated working hours for this fine Thursday and then it was on to Mortons, Berkeley Square, The 2 and 8 Club to prep. We trecked 15 minutes to the venue carrying a large crate of Pocket London bags, clothing hangers, lookbooks and misc. items. Excitement was fizzing in the ol' belleh.

So oh my god the venue...Well it was beautiful but the club was tinier than expected, albeit a lovely, clean, classy place. It was going to be amusing considering the guest list had rocketed to 250, with a capacity of about 100, comfortably. It was a dark, intimate, low-ceiling-ed space on the lower level with rainbow picture lights and flashy mirrors we filled with POCKET STASHH. Black leather seating around the perimeter and a focal up-lit bar, encasing a bar man called Oscar, who looked like Adriana's ex boyfriend Justin from The Hills, is an accurate description. The staff were amazingly accommodating and drinks were flying off the bar with popularity, particularly our beloved sponsors 'Funkin' Cocktails'- Brazilian was my drink of choice, go sample, you will not regret it! It's also now available to buy in Tesco which I spotted the day after! The Marshmallowists, another of Pocket's sponsors, arrived with towered glass displays of chubby, gourmet marshmallows. They looked like light spongey cubes and were infused with exotic, intriguing flavours. Nomm. London-based, everyone should try one of these guilt-free treats for a new sweet-eating experience. We were lucky enough to have them dotted around our tables to accompany the eclectic atmosphere!
Avant PR girls littered the space with an abundance of samples and huge shiny bags for the goody bag leaving gifts. We got sh*t loads of freebies from them, don. Goodies included Nails Inc, Phil Smith Agran Oil, Mudd clay masks, Pop Chip new flavours, Vaseline limited edition, Burts Bees balm, Simple wipes, beauty vitamins, an Afflux energy drink and more...
Boxes were everywhere from 4-7pm ish. It got to mad rush time.

Louise had Phil Smith hairdressers and a lovely Nails Inc girl come do her beauty regime-I got my hair blow dryed, oh yahh, I couldn't miss the opp. After about 15 minutes deliberating her nail design, she decided on 'SHOW TIME.' Check her instagram:
It was a general mad rush, helping move stuff around, deliver the goods to the bar, put all the press boards and signs up, arrange the space with merch and get jazzy in stash ourselves. We were the polaroid camera girls snapping the scenes all night. Developed photos to ensue...

Attendees included Danielle Peazer (international dancer with the big music names), MIC's Rosie Fortescue, Alex, Ashley James and Binky Felstead, Charlie and Hazel from BB'13 and shed loads of PR/journos, which packed out the place. It was a body to body situation, BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN being in thick of it and sporting the new collection's teal Pocket jeans. They got a lott'a' attention and RRP at about £175. These were the ones I wore, Russell Teal, with the brick pattern down the leg, a flattering fit and added luxury suede-esque material texture.
