Song recommendations: Feb 2014 chill out playlist. Skeen

This recently composed playlist has got a bit of a kick to it. It taps heavily into a contemporary realm of remixes, electronica, classical and new-age artists, so if you wana hear suttin' todally new, you've made it. It's origin comes from my need to absorb something relaxing while working or writing, that is principally lyric-less in order to avoid full distraction. Hope it benefits y'all in some way. Peace.

MA NEW FAVE TING (Quintessentially a conglomerate of alternative, electro-rap. It's a ruddy marvellous collaboration between James Blake, and Chance the Rapper. Slow, melodic and moody, it's good ace beats.) I appreciate this post seems out of date now with this song's hype already rife, I was supposed to have released it earlier in February, my baaaddd.

THIS RIGHT NOW, from the film The Hobbit, an exponential grower, subtle, melodic, evocative, brilliant. This is the kind of song you have on during daytime commuting, long distance travelling, hangover past-times and bed time. I can't get enough I suggest you download it in some shape or form. Performed by Ed Sheeran and remixed by Kygo, I'm going to rate this collab a 5 star. It was introduced to me this weekend just passed by my adorable and enthusiastic half Russian friend, Marina (also former uni housemate). I love her and her music taste and for selecting this as our post-Satuday night sofa song.

Next up, one of my classical favourites Ludovico Einaudi, BUT remixed by the sensationally talented Phaeleh remix. This one's a modernised delicate version, with subtle crescendos and bit more of an edge.
