BANKS- This is what it feels like (Prod, Lil Silva & Jamie Woon)
I do not know who, why, what, how, but this song is so bl**dy good. It's like drug music- aka addictive, dark and dramatic.
Jamie Woon thumbs up whatever he's involved in, remixes- tick in my general music list and BANKS, hiya.
It was my 'song of the day' this Friday gone. This was by all means the weekend vibe transitioning into summer scenes.
PARTYNEXTDOOR- Full Album
First up- SELECTED tracks b*tches- numbers 1,4,6 and if you want something really special, read on after this little blurb on my other PARTYNEXTDOOR track recommendation.
Addicted to this vibe right now! If you enjoy The Weeknd, Drake, Sampha and the new hiphop/RnB, electro lovechild that has emerged as a contemporary genre, YOU WILL BUM THIS album.
It's immersive, attractive and melodic. The beats are fizzy and alluring and his voice, well yeah, thumbs up kid. Sex in every song pretty much. I think the facet I rate most about this album is its ability to take its damn time and enjoy the motion- there's no sign of hectic or huge bursts into club-orientated choruses, it just chills... Also, the saxophone reappears in several tracks synthensizing all the material. I rather like its narrative in totality as an album- all the songs lead almost seamlessly into one another. Very consistent vibe. 9/10.
Thanks GD for offering me some tracks to listen to a while ago, to which I have now embraced.
PARTYNEXTDOOR- I don't (Alix's particular favourite right now)
