Today was 'set up and represent the pop up shop at King's Road, Chelsea day.' Karis and I opened up and started sussing out our space/ the day's game plan. Edward was next to arrive and Louise had a heavy night so had to recover. We made the space SO nice, going with a simplistic, classic look and upped the ante by going nearby charity shop shopping to purchase items to vamp our space. We decided on an old, well-travelled suitcase as a container to spill the jeans out of. Stationary shopping also occurred in order to write sign posts and price cards.

We also catered for the newly released healthy energy drink brand 'Afflux' on our shelving display, as he wanted to promote his drink. Edward and him know each other somehow. The founder of Afflux is an 18 year old student, just finished A levels, who started up his own company with investor help and his own savings. Ambitious.com. He's had mass orders from BIG, well known drink companies. Hats off to him.
The day wasn't too busy today as it was day 1, but we are about for 2 weeks, HURRAH. There were an array of brands, all fashiony, jewellery, accessory related, whether related to women, sport, children or the outdoor lifestyle, bicycles included. More good news is that Pocket London are being stocked in Nottinghill's 'Wolf and Badger' store from September 1st! GET DOWN THERE, all the new stock is in, so the last chance to buy the originals is round about now until end of August, with discount of course.

Also today I made the Facebook banner from earlier in the week into a flyer and we got 200 printed B and W to splosh about outside in the coming week.
The day ended around 630pm, but the end part of the day involve a launch party in the shop space courtesy of our neighbouring brand. There was a music act, forename Georgia, last name ?, who plays guitar and has long deep red hair. Also an array of drinks, a complimentary health food brand's treats and of course alc (Pimms/Sol). Apparently ELLE magazine and the founder of Innocent smoothies were due to arrive.
