Day 2 at Pocket equals a full team- hurrah! Pocket HQ was bizzay and bustly with chat, catching up, the exchanging of branding ideas and choons. I did a lot of graphic-y, Photoshop related projects today, from editing and re-shaping their new SS14 lookbook due for print this week to creating a new email logo graphic to be embedded in Karis’ buyers’ email she is sending out. I also liaised with the web design man about the features of the website’s backend and added some more blog feature ideas to my list.
Today we also clarified that tomorrow’s evening is 'shop moving in day!' 387 King’s Road, Chelsea, becomes Pocket London’s pop up shop for two weeks (15th-28th August, see my Pocket Pop Up banner) and we are all responsible for stock take, shop arrangement and setting up for the following opening day. A new app ‘izettle’ we downloaded will help us through the purchasing transactions on our iPhones- slick. This technology was waaay new to me, exchanging money on an iPhone. Following that, apparently there’s a Swatch after party we’re invited to via Louise’s agent. How exciting!
Ps. Lunch was so sh*t today- I made the error of selecting a chick pea salad pot in the local shop and it was like acidic, chilly starch for a few minutes, I had to put it down. No one deserves to eat that and pay for it. Luckily I followed it with an Eat Natural bar… mmm.
