Today was todalllyy quiet. Tuesday, our penultimate day, was empty and the enthusiasm from the two week stint had thoroughly died down. Two brands had completely packed up, but all four Pocket team members were in even after a 5 day bender. (Louise and Edward mainly) That 4 man team situ is rare. Carnival was BIG, as was the weekend I had in Shoreditch for an ex housemates birthday and then didn't manage to make it to SW4, even with a free ticket...sigh.
We made a sale on Tuesday though, and the online trouser model, friends with Louise and Edward, came in. Karis and I did our usually p*ss up around the shop and entertained ourselves with sweets whilst chatting to shoppers.
Some online Pocket orders were sent off in collaboration with the post office, so Karis and I did some admin and 'back and forthing' along King's Road. Unfortunately the post office ran out of sizeable special delivery bags for the new Max de Courcy packaging so that task had to end, after labelling and packing up four. The online sales had rocketed in the last few days over the weekend thanks to Louise's in-store appearance Saturday.
I made some icon graphics for the new website rebrand for the 'Pocket Blog,' 'Pocket Playlist' and 'Pocket Lookbook' tabs. Look out for them. Website launch due September. Below is a little preview for ya, (not the exact and refined ones, but pretty close) they went down a treat with Ed and Louise. I have become Pocket designer it seems.
Tomorrow is p*ss up Wednesdays. The Pocket night out. gaaad. Day off Thursday needed.
Next stop 'Jeans for Genes' charity party in early September then Picadilly pop up shop hashtag number 2 in September.
The final day, Wednesday 28th, was packing up stock day *sad face* not actually sad face, 'cos the space was rather dormant now. Literally half a day sesh and we were done! Boxes packed, car pick up and a ciao to the team.
