I thought my lack of sleep and restlessness last night was an act of pathetic fallacy for the Friday ahead but alas it wasn’t. I rescued it. I completed my first Abercrombie shift at the Flagship store, which all in all wasn’t as bad as I had doomed it to be- time didn’t tick particularly fast no, but the people I work with are so darn cute and friendly. Jade, my room buddy I met today, was lovely. 19, lively and GORG! We both discussed the monotony of a quiet shift, but kinda loved it at the same time so we could chit chat and that. I smelt of Fierce all day…
I then left after signing out and saying my goodbyes and headed to Fulham. It was interview time for the original, classic and charitable POCKET LONDON brand- designer and provider of fashionable denim, enlivening those staple female jeans purchases. I met Louise from Made in Chelsea, as she is one of the company’s founders and Edward, the other! A very easygoing, smart guy. It was situated at her house and MIC new series was about to start filming. How lucky am i? They were lovely and nice and chatty and uni peeps like moi, so we got along and had a good, lighthearted conversation. They went through more of the internship’s role specifics, which sounded SO UP MY STREET and I talked about my skills and interests, hoping the range would come in handy. I love chances to make an impact and grow ideas, so this would be a really ace opp! They commended my interesting take on my CV and my blogs, so finger’s crossed.
The position is for 2 weeks being a creative mind, a blogger, a social media guru, an ideas ricochet as part of a tripod team and entails general trooping around making things happen for their big(ger) brand (re)release! Should be exciting, stay tuned folks…as will I!
