I cannot stress how much of a fan I am of DRAKE. He is the don and I think i enjoy over 75% of his music. This one very much included, is his new release with Samba from SBTRKT, thus adding alternative-electro tones and encouraging a slower steadier beat to usual, from the combination of genres. It works so frickin well. It’s emotive but still clings to its hip hop/rap roots. This appeals to both types of fans alike.
The background whirls with subtle synthesizers and drake sings slowly so you can enjoy his lyrics. Definitely for the chilled, evening occasions, it’s quite mysterious.
